Schiapgasm rave: ASIAN SECRETS LULUR INDONESIAN WHITENING SCRUB

Contains 250g 130 Pesos/tub bought at Watsons WITH MY OWN MONEY

NEW PACKAGING and they added “Indonesian” to the name. It now comes in 2 variants. I purchased  the one with licorice extract and mulberry leaf extract (purple) yesterday. I forgot to grab the other tub yesterday so I did today. The other one contains seaweed extract and vitamin e (blue).

I have a faint recollection of the “old” formulation because the last time I used this was 6 weeks ago. IMO, this one has the same amount of grittiness as the old one. I used to love the smell of jasmine on my skin after showering with the old one but this one has a lighter scent. The blue one has a stronger scent than the purple one. I don’t know how to describe the scent-I’m sorry! I don’t know what licorice or mulberry or seaweed extract smells like but I’m guessing it smells like either or a combination of the ingredients. Sorry for the vague description! The feeling after showering is the same. It is as if you’ve slathered on lotion already.

MAIN DIFFERENCE is the PURPOSE. The violet tub “contains licorice and mulberry leaf extract to help whiten skin”. On the other hand, the blue tub “contains seaweed extract and vitamin e to help protect the skin and keep it healthy”.
‘Till my next inspired review…

8/31 Haul

It was my first time to enter Daiso. I have heard of it from other blogs but sadly we don’t have a Daiso branch near me (not that I know of) so I had to go to a branch near where my BF lives. I was amazed with what they had in their store not to mention the Hello Kitty stuff they had (I’m a sucker for Hello Kitty).
The first object I purchased was this Hello Kitty themed spoon and fork. It was sold separately at 88 a pop. My BF asked me what I’d do with them. I told him that I’d keep them but he kept on insisting that I use them. LOL! The second object I purchased was this Loven “Make cleansing pad”. From what I understand from the drawing is that it is a brush that you use for the face. I’ve used this for about a week now and I LOVE IT! It makes my face cleaner. How did I say so? I’ve been using a toner every after washing my face before I go to sleep and the cotton I use now has less dirt. If I pass by another Daiso store I’d definitely want to buy another one. AND it’s very cheap. It’s just 88 pesos!

2nd stop, SUESH! I love Suesh because they have affordable and quality brushes. I decided to purchase another pink mini kabuki brush and the black and white mini kabuki brush. They’re so compact that I always bring one in my bag for touch ups. I use the pink one for my blush and it feels so soft on my skin. It’s made from goat hair. I have had one for about a year now and it’s still good as new. The only downside is the casing because the shiny part of the casing peels off so I have to put a piece of tissue so that the flakes won’t get into my brush and onto my face.
Oh and my friend wanted an e/s palette so I got her this! It has 2 blushes and 12 e/s. It was 350 only! When I was halfway home I wished that I also got one for myself but I have a lot of e/s already so..yeah!
